With Run to the Sun only 3 weeks from Saturday, this will be the last big training week before starting to taper.
Saturday Training 3-05-05 "Manoa+Tantalus x 3"
Meeting time: 5:50 am Starting time: 6:00 am
Meeting place: Hawaii Nature Center lower parking lot
Training: 10 mile road run, plus 3 Tantalus Rd. loops up to the top of Concrete Rd. and return. Rex and Kat's sister Cheryl have volunteered to drive us down the hill on 2 of the loops, which may give us incentive to do a 4th Tantalus loop? Duration approx. 8 hrs

Did I read this right? Get a ride down the hill? In the old days (when we ran with slippers and got our water from depressions in the leaves), we ran back down. Still, I suppose there's not much downhill on Haleakala.....
