Gil Loomis and Steve Dewald don't have to worry about wearing off their Thanksgiving dinner or the extra calories from that second piece of pumpkin pie. In fact, they might eat a third piece. They also don't have to worry about the long lines and traffic around the malls on Black Friday. It's not that they will be sleeping in or taking it easy. No, these two men have other plans over on the Big Island.
Here's is what their Thanksgiving weekend looks like:
From the Ultraman web site:
A 3-day, 320-mile (515-kilometer) individual ultra-endurance event which
takes place on the Big Island of Hawaii. Entry is limited to 35 participants
and is by invitation only.
You can read more about it here.
This link will take you to the list of competitors.

Hey, during the bike ride, can one of you stop and pick me up a souvenir lava rock? Just kidding, of course. I also forgot to mention in my email "good women." (I hear your crews are awesome!!). You will succeed very well, no doubt about that! The only question is: "What time do you have to get up in the morning to do so?"
