I wouldn't be worrying much about Angeles Crest in Sept. I advise you to listen to "The Slow GUY, who beat a hell of a lot of fast punks.

All the races will be out there for years, each one again and again. You have decades to get around to running them.

But if your knee were a cat it would have used up all its lives. Mobility is a necessity, while Ultras are a fantastic indulgence.
Please keep that in mind as you plan your recovery.

That said, I wish you the very best in your surgery, recovery, and future on the trails.
