The Jack-ass stash has been refilled for those who don't need to take an extended vacation from training before the HURT. The black plastic bags have 10 1.5 liter bottles, there are a few gallon containers as well. All empties, near empties, and trash has been cleared.
ALSO: A VERY large tree has fallen across the set-up area of the Aid Station. It is likely to require some re-thought of the standard setup for that aid station. Those involved in that aid station would be well advised to go out and eyeball the situation to see if it requires logistical changes.

Just FYI, there is no place to shower at the start/finish, and you WILL be wet, muddy, and stinky (we share the mud with the pigs). The bus has rules against odor.
If you don't want to pay for a taxi, I don't think it will be a problem bumming a ride to Waikiki after the race....and I might be able to pick you up in the morning. You can e-mail me -- cetacean6 at hotmail dot com.

Thebus.org runs on Sunday (less frequently) but the closest stop to the Nature Center is still a bit of a hike, 3/4 mile+. You can get the 5 at Nehoa and Punahou which will take you to the mall for a transfer. The 5 also picks up on the road by Paradise Park if you do the 100K option. Last one is around 10 PM.
4 bus picks up at Makiki and Wilder also about 3/4 mile and goes into Waikiki. 2.50 exact change or get a 4 day pass at ABC if you are touring the area before the race.
If you are going back to Waikiki you can probably catch a ride. Taxi would be about $15-20 depending on which hotel in Waikiki.

Hi there.
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is public transportation from the race to town. I will be on foot and heard there might be a bus but I am guessing it doesn't run on Sundays.
Thanks
