Saturday February 28th @ 7:45am - Kuliʻuoʻou Ridge Trail

Aloha everyone!

This Saturday weʻre planning a special run to welcome HURT ohana Scott Gordon home for the weekend! Meet at the Kuliʻouʻou trailhead at 7:45am for a 8am start. This is a relatively short, intense run up to the summit with a gorgeous view of the windward side. Bring whatever water/snacks (if any) youʻll need for an 1.5-2hr run. Join us for breakfast somewhere nearby afterwards!

Saturday February 21st @ 6am - Peacock (long road)

Aloha Athletes,

Posting this a bit early since I'll be off the phone grid next week. Next week, join Augusto at Peacock for a 16 mile training run. Meet at long road at 6am - the route will head up long road, over cross over to 3 way, then back to the start at long road. Not sure where long road is? Check the directions here.

Don't forget to bring your snacks and water.

Saturday February 14th @ 7am - Trek Loop

This Saturday, we are planning to do a reverse Trek loop (10 miles) starting at 0700 from the Nature Center. Meet at the picnic tables for a nice easy Valentines Day run. Don't forget to wear your red... if there is not enough red we might just take a trip up Concrete Road! Looking forward to seeing you all out there.

Saturday February 7th @ 6am - Tour de Kailua!

This Saturday, meet at 6:00am at Kailua Beach Park and park in the car park next to the boat sheds opposite Buzz’s. We will be running over sand, road and dry, rocky trails so please select appropriate foot wear.  Estimated time on the move for the group will be between 2.5 - 3.5 hrs. Roughly 12.5 - 13 miles, with 1,500 ft climbing. We may be lucky enough to have some ‘pop-up’ aid-stations - but please carry enough water and nutrition as you personally require. This is a dry, exposed route.

*If you don’t want to run on the sand there is an alternative route and re-group point for the rest of the run.
**Not feeling recovered from HURT/ your big Friday night out to run 13 miles?? There are various ‘cut-backs’ available - or just run the beach bare foot!
